As long as I can remember, I have had an interest in all things creative. It was my Grandma who gave me my first sewing machine and it was love at first stitch. Many years ago, I took a trip to Lancaster, Pennsylvania and had my first exposure to quilting. I bought an Amish queen sized, hand quilted quilt and I've been hooked ever since.
Soon after, I joined a quilt guild, learned to quilt and began teaching others. I purchased my first longarm in 2003 and have had a number of brands and sizes of longarm quilting machines, but Handi Quilter is my favorite.
I currently quilt on an HQ Infinity with Pro-Stitcher and an HQ Forte with Pro-Stitcher. I teach machine quilting on both longarm and domestic machines.
I most enjoy making quilts of comfort for charities and gifts for family and friends.
I currently belong to two quilt guilds: Dogwood Quilt Guild in Lake Arrowhead, CA and Tehachapi Mountain Quilters in Tehachapi, CA
I have loved being a part of the wonderful Handi Quilter team and to share my passion of quilting. Now, I am a designer for Quiltable.com and am busy creating computerized longarm designs, focusing on Southwest designs.
2/22/23 - First release of Southwest Arrow designs on Quiltable.com
I am available for virtual one-on-one training on your longarm by the hour via Zoom. Email me at the bottom of this site.
Machine training: Machine basics to get the quilter on their way to finishing quilts. Available for training on your Handi Quilter or BabyLock longarm and a variety of domestic machines
